SCARAB Convention hosting South Carolina DT Open (Updated -- Times Added)

(10/20/2010)
First ever tournament in the Palmetto State! First Open tournament in the US!

We are planning a Dungeon Twister tournament, the 2011 South Carolina Open, to be held at the SCARAB gaming convention in Columbia, SC on Jan. 14-16, 2011. There will also be several other opportunities to learn and play Dungeon Twister -- 2 player, 3/4 player, solo, and 2 vs.2. Players will also be able to demo all the expansions.

For the tournament:We'll have two qualifying heats of three rounds of Prison or Base Game only. The top qualifiers will advance to the three round championship in which any expansion can be used, by agreement of both players. Heats and the championships will be Swiss rounds, so everyone is guaranteed three games. New and experienced players are all invited to participate -- there will be demos for the game before the tournament, so that everyone can learn the rules of the game.

The only cost is the entry fee to the convention, which is $40 if you preregister. Please see their website at www.s-c-a-r-a-b.com.
