The Ranking System of the LIDT is released, but not all the tournaments are registered.

For Germany, your deutschen meisterschaft accounts for this ranking system and all the tournaments in 2009 with 8 players and more. The others tournaments can be to register only if you want see their results.
Some players are not register on the IDTL website.
Please, could you register youself ? the referees and managers will abble to register results of every tournaments !

I think, this exactly is the fact that will cause troubles in upcoming events. What options does a tournament manager has to make sure players will register themselves? None.
Shall he reject not registered players from a tournament? I think not.

So the only option I see is that at the start of a tournament the manager should notify all relevant datas and register the players not registered yet himself. Otherwise I'll forecast many tournaments that can't be validated.

Exactly : The first work of the manager or the referee is that one. Take the name, pseudo, address, @mail or Tel number of every players not registered and Indicate the password who player would like use. Or use the firstname as the password.

I think you can't avoid phantom players. There will be always some players who like to play at tournaments but don't have anything in mind with ranking or being part of the internet community.
